Jasper HotelStory by Alyssa Nishek Photography by Dan Francis Photography Jasper Hotel recently joined the downtown Fargo, North Dakota, community, bringing with it excellent design and vibrant energy.
Jasper’s namesake derives from Jasper B. Chapin, a true character and integral figure in Fargo’s history, known not only for his time as mayor, but his many investments into the city. Numerous nods to Chapin’s life can be found through Jasper’s eclectic design intricately rooted in history. In a nod to Chapin, the Jasper Hotel logo is shaped like his frequently-worn, red bow tie. Not only that, but the entire second floor of guest rooms is adorned in red accent features, mimicking the color of the boldly red-painted second story walls of Chapin’s Continental Hotel, which was once located just across Broadway. As an Aparium Hotel Group property, Jasper Hotel is the only one of its kind. With a ground level entrance into the 18-story, mixed-use RDO Tower, Jasper Hotel greets guests with the warmest welcome possible. Upon entering the hotel, guests are immediately greeted by Jasper’s flagship restaurant, Rosewild, and its inviting bar and lounge. An array of seating options, meant for anything from casual family gatherings to intimate first dates, make it possible for anyone to find a temporary home in this space. With the hearth and grill purposely positioned in the front of the restaurant, guests get front row tickets to Executive Chef, Austin Covert, and his team's skills.

[Inside the new Tellwell, Downtown Fargo]Story by Katie Beedy Photography by M.Schleif Photography There is something about a campfire that inspires the best stories. Ancient civilizations congregated around open flames not just to cook their food, but to unleash their imaginations and pass on their histories. At summer camps, exchanging nightmare-inducing ghost stories over the campfire is considered a rite of passage. Maybe it’s the cover of darkness, the communal act of gathering twigs for kindling, or the hypnotizing dance of the flame itself—whatever the explanation, it’s undeniable that the most tantalizing tales emerge when we gather around a fire. If you're on the hunt for the ultimate storytellers in campfire-inspired culture, look no further than Tellwell's marketing agency in their new location at 1213 NP Avenue in Downtown Fargo.

[Downtown Fargo's Newest Dwelling]Story by Tracy Nicholson Photography by Dan Francis Photography, Renderings courtesy of Alliance Management Group For the last few months, designer Trever Hill has stayed busy working on a brand new project in Downtown Fargo; the Cathedral Lofts by Alliance Management Group. Located just west of the downtown Sanford Campus and a stone's throw north of St. Mary's Cathedral, the outstanding amenities are not to be outdone by the spectacular view. Hill worked closely with the team at Alliance and Great States Construction to select the high-end finishes for all 35 units, ranging from alcove to two-bedroom floorplans. To give prospective tenants a glimpse inside life in the lofts, he staged two of the upscale, modern abodes; one with a Mid-century modern vibe, the other with a fresh take on cottage-boho. Although you may want to take your time pondering the exterior's sweeping views, these lofts have an interior that deserves your full attention.
