Inside the new Weyer-For-Hire Office & the Trever Hill Design SuiteStory by Tracy Nicholson Photography by Micah J. Zimmerman, Amdak Productions With an unassuming, warehouse-style exterior in South Fargo, the new Weyer-For-Hire office offers much more than their neighbors would ever imagine. While the interior is specially curated to create a Wabi Sabi-inspired showroom which offices Weyer-For-Hire employees, it's also home to Trever Hill Design. As a tenant and friend to owners, Shawn and Rachel Weyer, Hill designed his own office suite and also worked with the Weyers to create and showcase the diverse services the company offers. Every inch of the 1,500 square foot addition is designed to display the same exquisite handiwork and character that Weyer-For-Hire exhibits on the job site.
Trever Hill Design + The White House Co. + Luna Fargo + Benjamin Custom HomesStory by Trever Hill, Nikki Berglund, Tracy Nicholson Photography by M. Schleif Photography This month, we're taking you on a stroll through the woods to the blissful backyard of Jim and Vonda Leiner. To make the most of a gorgeous fall day, Trever Hill and Amanda Rydell gathered a couple of their favorite people for a Friendsgiving picnic on the bank of the Sheyenne River. With a quick stop to Hill's design studio and Rydell's warehouse at The White House Co., they made a beeline to Luna for wine and cheese, then headed out of town to set up camp for a festive fall gathering. After we've counted our blessings and toasted our toes, we'll spill the secret on the picnic's famous pumpkin bread by their friend, Melanie Anderson, and meet Nikki Berglund, the connoisseur behind Luna's fall wine and cheese selection.
[Trever Hill Design + Benjamin Custom Homes]Story by Tracy Nicholson Photography by Dan Francis Photography Renderings provided by Adam LaPlante, Benjamin Custom Homes When a New York Times Bestselling Author moves into the lake home next door, you can count on a little "drama". Falling in love with a 5,000 square-foot retreat on Otter Tail Lake, the popular fiction author known as Tijan, was ready to begin a new chapter. To redefine the existing space, she recruited Trever Hill Design to overhaul the home's outdated finishes. To complete the construction and help preserve its unique architectural character, Hill reached out to Ben Anderson of Benjamin Custom Homes. Instead of knocking down walls, the team built walls, defined spaces, and created a modern-industrial vibe bound to inspire Tijan's next literary masterpiece.
[Trever Hill Design]Story by Trever Hill with Tracy Nicholson Photography by Trever Hill My work takes me all over the region and sometimes across the country, but the lakes area is always a favorite destination, even in the winter months. This time, a new design challenge led me to Walker, Minn., where I met the Winter family and got a chance to refresh their living space. By the time we finished, every surface on the main level had gotten a makeover and a once dated space was lightened, brightened and given a fresh new life.

Even though she had me at 'Arizona', I was even more intrigued when she told me that she was considering renting it out as an Airbnb. After a few brief trips to the always-sunny state, the result was a beautiful space that would make anyone want to extend their vacation.
