Elizabeth Medd

Medd (AIA, NCARB, NCIDQ #33487) is the design principal and founder of studioBARRED architecture & interiors, based in Fargo, N.D. Originally from Arizona, Medd has been a passionate Architect and Interior Designer for the past 15 years, working regionally and nationwide in the areas of large-scale commercial, hospitality and high-end residential. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Design, Architectural Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Architecture from NDSU.

​After moving back to the area, she now focuses her passion on the humanity of architecture by developing and exploring how we relate to our built environments and how we are affected by the space we inhabit. Her passion for cohesive design drives her desire to create and design from the very beginning of a project, through to the last detail.
