Ursula Hegvik

Hegvik is a home organization contributor and founded Smart Spaces in 2007. She has been designing closets, garage systems, mudrooms, pantries and other areas of the home for more than 13 years. She is currently on the board of directors for the National Association of Closet and Storage Professionals and the local Home Builders Association.

Smart Spaces won Best Organizer in 2016 and 2017 in the People’s Choice Awards. In this issue, she encourages readers to embrace home organization in the new year and shows some amazing “before and after” examples to inspire.

​In addition to her passion for design and home organization, she enjoys cooking, traveling, being at the lake, playing with her kids and yoga.
